Beat the Heart Attack Gene is a really interesting, meaty book about systemic inflammation caused by many different sources including oral sources and how to prevent heart attacks and strokes through a scientific comprehensive approach. This is a must read for all Americans. I discuss and interesting article about surgical site infections with jaw surgery and come away with actionable points to help prevent those. The interesting case shows a cool radiograph of an impacted #20 that destroyed #19 and the challenge of that extraction.
